One Saturday, I rented a car and drove up to Old Warden to visit the Shuttleworth Collection and watch the weekly Saturday evening flying. The show was opened by Carolyn Grace and her very distinguished Spitfire Mk. IX, ML407. As the sun settled, the winds calmed completely and they had the chance to fly the "Edwardians"...pre-World War I aircraft. Some are replicas, some are not.
