One of my favorite haunts when laying over at Stansted was, of course, Cambridge. The colleges, the River Cam, the backs, and the festive street atmosphere make for many lovely afternoon walks. The Eagle Pub is of course a required visit for airline crews, particularly the RAF room. We had some good times punting, and the Botanical Gardens on a bright spring day are wonderful.
